The throttle body spacer changes the air flow into the throttle body. Basically causing a vortex so the air/fuel mixture is optimized for maximum performace and fuel economy. I noticed a huge difference in performance, still waiting for results on MPG.
It took me 20 minutes. The hardest part of the installation was trying to stop the step stool from slipping out from my feet while I was leaning over the engine compartment. And after I installed the TB spacer I installed the Airaid cold induction air cleaner kit. So it's kind of hard to tell which one added the performance, but adding both sure made a difference. I found a guy on ebay that sells them here locally and he got me a good deal. I paid around $270 for both and saved tax and shipping.
And like I said the next thing will be exhaust, but I have do some research on this. I did listen to one that had a B&B Exhaust and it sounded real nice without the cab resonation in it.
