Well my name is Mike and I am in Charlotte, NC. I have started my search for my first Hummer H1. I am looking for a 1994 H1 and am wanting to get some information on what I need to look for when buying a used H1. I have had only sports cars in the past so this is really new to me and I want to get more info before I buy anything.

As an aside I will be in the active market (meaning money and knowledge in hand to buy the one I want) for one starting in June so if anyone is looking to sale theirs in the coming year I am interested.

I have enjoyed the forum over the past weekend Keep up the good work.

Oh well...ANYWAYS!!!!!

 

I am looking at 1995 H1 with the gas engine and wanted to see what the gas engine has to offer. Does it run on premium gas/regular? I don't see myself going thru 24 or even 30" of water so that is not a problembut how do the two engines match on general offroading?Just don't want to go with a gas engineif the desiel wouldbe a betterchoice.
