Default New Exhaust

I just finished installing a new Borla Cat back system on my 2003. It was super easy to go on. Everything fit great. All stainless steel with two polished rear tips. It is not loud at all. In fact it sounds about the same as stock idleing. I am fixing to take it for a drive tonight. I put a gibson exhaust on a friends H2 and it was no where near as nice a fit as this system. I also changed my fuel filter while I was underneath it.

is an upgrade like that supposed to have positive effects on gas mileage? write back after you've had it for a little while and see how it goes. would be interested to know.

I drove it around town last night and it is just barely louder than stock. The engine does seem to rev up faster and have more power. So far I am really happy with the choice to go Borla. 140037 is the Borla part number.A couple of more things is the weight of the stock muffler must be twice that of the Borla. It also has a million mile warranty.I will let you guys know if the mileage increases.

I ordered it from a local warehouse distributor that was going out of business. I got it for half or retail. It retails for $1000
They only had one set left or I would have bought more and passed the saving on to some board members. I have a few hundred miles on the system now and I know theH2 runs better and I think I am getting 1/2 MPG better than I was before. I LIKE IT.
