New Chinese Company
Does anyone know anything about this chinese company that bought Hummer? I was ganna get rid of my H3 seeing i had 3 other SUV's in mind but the main reason I bought it was to help out the whole "Buy American" chant from GM but they turn and stab us in the back after paying all this money. Im might just keep it and have some faith in the Chinese. Afterall, our country is a trillion dollars in debt while theirs is a trillion dollars above. Share your thoughts!!
Last I heard the sale is not final.
The Chinese government may not want one of their companies taking on the Hummer brand because they want to go in a more energy efficient direction.
The actual company interested in Hummer is (Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Co. Ltd) a large tractor making company in China.
They have no experience in mass automobile assembly line products.
I don't know what they bring to the table, except maybe keeping the brand alive.
If you want to take a closer look at this possible surrogate parent to our trucks, here is the link
