New Alpha! WITH PICS!!!
Your pictures are probably larger than 500KB, which is the maximum combined size for all pictures uploaded.
If you are using Windows XP with Windows Office, you can use the Microsoft Office Picture Manager to re-size the pictures. There are many programs that you can use to do this. You may wish to resize the pictures so they are no larger than 1024 x 768 pixels. If you use the aforementioned program you can do this by simply selecting a percentage size of the original picture until the new size is 1024 x 768 or smaller. This will cut down the size of the file significantly.
After you have re-sized the pictures so they display easily on the screen and are smaller files, one of the easiest ways to shrink the file even smaller is to use Microsoft Paint to open the re-sized picture. You can do this by going to the folder where the picture is filed, then right-click on the picture file and select "Open With", then select Paint. Once the picture is open in paint, simply press CTRL-S (or click "File", then "Save") and the file will be saved to the original location, but Paint has compressed the file to nearly one-third it's original size while maintaining the resolution.
Hope this helps. Remember, the maximum size for all uploaded pics on this forum is 500KB, so make sure your files are smaller than this before attempting to upload. If you get them under 500KB but large enought where you can't upload 5 of them in one post without going over, you can post one pic in a reply and then do it again for the other pictures.
We really want to see your new Baby!
