Wow, it's a reality... doubt they'll offer it with a manual transmission though.

Would like to know what else is upgraded, locking front diff.? What will the gas mileage be with the V8?

Not a locking front diff, but it's cast iron and is interchangable between all current H3 models.. I'd guess heavier T-bars to support that V8 as well...

Wow, that engine compartment looks FULL!!!

I wonder if the 08 model will still have the I-5 3.7L as standard and this big V8 as an option?

Seems like they would have a lot of changes so I'm thinking maybe the I-5 is going away??

What do you guys think?

The I5 should have went away before the 06 H3's hit the street...I have a feeling at the time, GM was in a hurry to put this H3 platform on the streets and didn't have a suitable engine yet..sooooo, this is what we got..

I believe I will wait till mid year after the V8's have had the bugs worked out, before I jump on this one...Buta V8 H3 is in my future for sure.

Great, JUST Great! Not only do I have to go change my panties now, but I won't have any money to buy this one! BLAH. Thank God for the PCM Upgrade and Premium Fuel

On that note, after going off-roading this weekend, I have decided we are not buying anything other then Hummer vehicles from now on. I'm going to buy a beater to drive to the train and back everyday, stop driving these rediculous miles to work and back, and save up to buy a next-gen H2 or H3. Forget the Camaro, I have seen the light!
