New 1995 H1
I just bought a 1995 Hummer Wagon...and I have a few questions...
1) it doesnt have spare tire carrier, what is the best Value for a rear tire carrier...
2) it doesnt have a rear reciever, but it does have a front... why... again what is the best value reciever...
3) the CTIS has been removed... I am not an off roader... is it worth having it repaired? the compressor still works...
4) i am aware of the ac problem with this year and mine doesnt currently have ac working... it does have heat... thoughts or tips on replacement...
and then for now does anyone have opinons on this model in general... I intend on using as a daily driver... and I can safely say that I am about as excited about this vechicle as I have ever been with the exception of my first car... I dont think I have ever seen anything as cool looking as an H1... and once I drove a proper one... wow...I am currently having it saftey inspected and we should be on the road by tue...
Thanks for your time and attention...

There are Rhino tire carriers on Ebay right now for 4-500.00.
Here in SoCal I don't really need the upgraded HVAC. Depending on the climate you have it might be worthwhile to go with the 97.5 and up HVAC upgrade when you fix the AC.
CTIS is one of the unique features of the H1. If not offroading it isn't critical but depending on what all needs to be replaced I would fix it when time and money are available.
Congrats on the H1. You are going to enjoy the new truck.
