So they took the front off of a Pontiac and put a pickup bed on the back of it.I'll save my money for the HX.

I never was a huge El Camino fan. Some things need to be left alone and this is one that did not need to be resurrected.

Not sure what they are thinking. hasn't the retro phase passed? The T-bird, Ford GT, Chrysler retro thing are all out of production...why dig something up out of the bottom of the barrel?

I am currently working in Australia (commute back and forth to Ohio). These UTE's as they are called here are very popular. Since fuel prices are pretty high here there are really VERY few full size pickups (Ford F-250's are the biggest I have seen, and damn few of those). As fuel prices continue to rise they could be a sign of things to come. I'll stick to my H2. I dated a girl in Indiana with an El Camino, and my granddad had a couple of them. Ihave fond memories of them.

Uncle had one. Girlfriend's dad had a Ranchero ( Ford's version of the El Camino.) Never really cared for either.
