Default NeedHelp!

I've got a 2003 H2 with 72000 miles on it and recently had the fuel filter replaced. Ever since then it runs out of gas when the guage reads 50 miles left to zero. coincidence? dash cluster?,"gas card" in the tank? Would this most likely be a computer issue or a mechanical issue in the fuel line itself?
I cannot even begin to guess and apparently the dealership can't either.
This H2 has been a rock solid mountain vehicle for my family and I have to figure this thing out somehow. Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated!

My filter on my 03 is located on the exterior front gas tank toward the front of the car. Is yours inside the tank? Was your fuel pump replaced recently as well? When replacing the pump, I belive the sender is attached to the pump as well and may have been replaced in the wrong position. Just a hunch. Never dropped the tank but have on other vehicles with the same system. This would make the tank read improperly.
