So when I was replacing my tweeter in the pillars, I pried the cap off of the passenger side pillar that says "airbag" to get to the screw and it went flying. I looked all over my truck, can't find it anywhere, so its probably gone.

I need to buy another one but on all the GM part sites the only illustrations I can find are for the pillar "w/o" or without airbag, and I need the cap that says airbag......

I have the tan interior if that helps any, maybe someone knows something I don't about navigating these parts catalogs....

 

Ok wait I found it........but GM Parts direct wants $50 shipping and "handling", for a tiny plastic plug? You have to be fscking me!

 

thats nuts, what is it going to be hand delivered by the GM CEO himself? Sux but I hate that when you need it you have to bow down to this kind of bullsit !

So when I lost it I moved my seats all the forward, and back, looked under them everywhere, used a flashlight, checked every crack and crevice I could think of.

So over the weekend I was moving my seats around to clean the leather from getting it dirty with tires, moved my passenger seat all the way up, and wouldn't you know, there it is. The day after the the replacement plug came. You were right tom......

 

tom was right? I'm writing this one down!
