Hey guys (and gals), I don't know much about rim spacing/tire sizes and such, but was looking at getting a set of this tire/rim combo for my 06 H3. 18x9 Black XD Monster Wheels w/ Toyo Open Country MT 33x12.5x18 Tires

Some people tell me they will fit, some tell me they won't... I have the stock 06 H3 with adventure package. I'm being told by some that I need to do a 2" lift at minimum to use these, and something about the offset? Others are telling me that they will fit fine with no trimming/spacers etc... Also, I do mild off roading (Trails and such around Las Vegas, camping trips), no crawling or anything like that, but was wondering if these would hold up? (ie durability) Thanks in advance for the input.

Can't answer your question with the info you provided. You need to provide back spacing of the rims you intend to buy, not the range available?

The tire size in and of itself is not the problem, you do not need a lift for 35s, let alone 33s.

Yea.... I have no idea about the backspacing. What backspacing do I need? I think the offset has to do with how far the tire/rim stick out from the wheel well? haha like I said, don't know much about this kind of stuff. Learning as i go...

 

the +18mm offset will work. I run a set of XD SPYs in 18" with that offset and they stick out further than the stock ones do, but I run 34s
