Default Need Help Quick

Bought a new drivers door switch.Installed it .dd window still didn't work.Looked at fuses all good .But now the key won't come out won't crank over have nothing
What the hell.Need to fix asap

this happened to me once before but not when instaling a new switch. Did you try disconnecting then reconnecting the battery? maybe that will work? I bought a new drivers window switch also but havnt installed it yet....hope this doesnt happen to me.

Yes disconnected it and re connected..New battery fully charged ..This really sucks .Wifes truck aswell so joy joy

did you make sure it's in park and that the steering will isn't locked left or right?

Hi,
Disconnect the battery black cable for 30 min.
After 30 min connect the battery and let it reboot before you start .
Everything should be fine after that.

yes, check to see if your shifter moves, depress brake and move to N, you can start the vehicle in neutral also.. wiggle steering wheel when turning key to off position. check battery voltage(12.6v or higher) and check cables to make sure they are tight. after that check fuses.. maybe a shorted switch too, since that is what you last did, unplug switch connectors and try?

Got it.Some how blew a fuse bcm.Not sure how or why .But still dd window not working.Grrrrr

was the key on when you replaced switch? possible spike blew fuse or bad switch...

Not sure Was so aggravated .Could have been on and didn't realize it was .
