Hey, anyone have some input on putting 22" rims on my 2006 HUMMER H3?

I'm looking at 22 x 9.5 --- 6 lug 6X5.5 wheels with 305-40-22 Toyo tires.

Any advice and will this cause any problems? I would appreciate anyones help...

thanks Dilo....but if he want's 22's my rims won't work for him.

as long as your rim/tire combo measure no more than 35" tall and 12.5 wide they should fit. Make sure you get +38 or less offset rims with a backspace around 5.

 

was going to go with a 22"the 305/40/22 will look way to small try a 325/50/22 much bigger tire but will fit and look a hell of alot better!!

 

Thanks for the responses! Umm i actually gota deal online that only comes with 305/40/22 toyo tires.. So should i go with it?

Im not looking to go offroad or anything... fisherman, i was told that black rims only look good on dark cars. I am looking for all chrome. I'm getting a deal for $1,800 for 22" and TOYO high end tires. BRAND NEW.

 

take a look at toyo open country at's 325/50/22 if you want to go that big use a tire that looks like it should be on a hummer!

 

I'm happy with my 20" Helo wheels and 285 X 50 wrangler tires!
