Need a GM Tech's help...
Our 2006 Chevy Suburban has a bad musty smell when we use the recirculate AC setting. The dealer has used a Frigifresh chemical treatment (BG product I think) and I am tgaking it back to them on Monday. It still smells bad.
I obtained (from Ebay - brand new and in box) an "Electronic Evaporator Dryer" module (P/N 12497910 AC Delco#15-5876) to help avoid a repeat musty smell. However, there were no instructions included. I do not know which wires go to which wires. Is there a way to obtain instructions or wiring diagrams?
Thanks.
Rod S.

Hit it with a hammer and see if that works.
Are there just tails coming off the unit? Or is it a plug in? How many wires are there? If there are two wires, the darker one is going to be your ground and the other one is your power. Some pics would also help...

I just heard back from my service advisor over at Moore Cadillac. He plans to print the instructions and wiring diagrams out for this module and our Suburban. I plan to have the Hummer back over there on Monday of next week to have the steering rack replaced and I hope to get them then.
Thanks Jesse for your interest in helping out. The hammer suggestion was starting to look like the best option...

Sounds like you have aproblem with condensation stagnation turning to mildew. Spray Lysol under dash area while running on recirculate, then while on regular, spray lysol in the air intake areas near windshield wipers. You may need to do this a few times to get the lysol into the condensation drip pan that is mildewed. May also need to do a couple times a year to be on the safe side.
