Default Navigation Stereo System for 2006 H3

I'm thinking about replacing my original Monsoon 6 CD player stereo. Nothing wrong with it, I was just wanting to put in a Navigation GPS system in the dash.

Any recommendations? Cannot afford a super expensive one, so any good reviews with what works well, fairly easy to install and looks like it was made to be there?

Thanks in advance!

I recently installed the Pioneer AVH X2700BS. It doesn't have GPS itself but instead uses the good GPS I your phone and shows it on the units screen with the apps that you download from your app store and connect with your phone through a usb cable. If you have an Android it has mirror link or whatever it's called. If you have an iPhone like me you can use the apps, access your "ipod", and it comes with the Pandora app in the radio. With the unit having the usb coming out of the back I bought a usb plug from Amazon to mount into the dash so I can just plug my phone into it and it looks like a factory usb input. Also if you have an iPhone you can buy the lightning to HDMI converter that you would use to connect your phone to a tv or projector and buy an additional wire harness to go from HDMI to standard rca cables and you can then mirror your phone to the stereo unit allowing you to watch Netflix or YouTube videos in your car. I haven't yet hooked this up as the cables to do that are around a hundred bucks, but I love everything else. I'll try to snap some pictures of my install tomorrow, but I couldn't be happier.

I have yet to find a stock car gps that works better than the apps I have in my iPhone. Therefore , installing an app radio made more sense to me. It's way cheaper too.

Looking at the same options. Anyone know if I can install an OEM H3 nav unit and have it work without any issues, like having to get it unlocked?

OOPS...sorry Doc Olds, shoulda read further into my search on this, I see you already answered my q. Apologies, oh Wise Won.
