Smile My third different intake

So I'm a little picky and impulsive and i couldn't pass up the deal I got on a brand new injen technologies short ram intake. Its my third different intake in about 15 months. Haha. I had a volant, spectre w/k&n, and now the injen. I thought I would post a pic since I think I might be the only one on here with an injen. I'm loving it so far, nice growl to it at 3000rpm and higher, breathes more freely at those higher rpms as well, which gives it the much needed power increase in the 06. All in all, the spectre plus k&n filter is probably the best bang for the buck. I gained a solid mpg with that intake, more than paid for itself. im hoping the injen might increase it slightly more. Anyways, here it is. Also, I'll probably be selling the k&n and spectre in the classified section if anyone is interested. $50 shipped?

If you had bought an AirDoc, you wouldn't have had to buy any others.

I agree! I really like the heat shield on the Injen intake...no heat from the engine will ever get past that

And I'm sure water can't get past that incredible shield either!

alright I appreciate all the helpful feedback but before you bag on it at least check out the product description of this system(link below), its pretty advanced. I actually was hoping to hear docs opinion of this intake. I also included a dynochart(2006 colorado tested 3.5l) ...I'm sure I would of been satisfied if I originally bought an air doc. I actually paid less for this intake and I was looking for as much air flow as possible for this 06. I was a little worried about excessive dirt or water, but that front corner is pretty well protected..it should be fine unless I'm submerged. Ill let you know how it fairs since your obviously concerned.

I do, with the spectre intake parts if you're interested. Great mod, but I have no use for it anymore. Pm me and we'll figure something out...I'm not looking for much but shipping these days is ridiculous.

Sorry to say Mthoodh3, I'am also on board with the Airdoc CAI
Mine is installed, working and no problems and Airdoc even gets this H3 site to run well too.

hard to read the data,,,as usual!!,,,looks like most of the action occurs at 4000 rpm up to redline. nothing at 2000

i dont spend any time in those rpms.

r u guys talking about spending a lot of time at the drag strip??
just what is it for?
