I had my ORIGINAL mirrors replaced 3 times under warranty for them not folding properly, then about 7 or 8 months ago(I can't remember when?), GM had a TSB where any problems with '03, '04 or '05 mirrors would NOW BE REPLACED with the '06 mirrors as they are re-designed and supposedly work better. So far So good.

I think the "TAIL LIGHTS" you mention are the ones in the corners of the bumpers?? If so, these lights weren't available till 2005.

As for wheeling, I'm not an off roader, though I will put my OEM tires on in October for the winter, and switch up again in the spring!

This is my H3 on 24s... not sure if i wanna raise owith 37s or lower...

 

IMO, you should LOWER it. I'm not a fan of the street tires on rigs with the HUUUGE WHEEL WELL sticking out!! Personal Preference though!!
