Default My radio won't fit in the garage

Does anyone know if there is a GM antenna, from another make or model, which is shorter and will fit my H2? I'd like to keep the OEM look, if possible.

I've never seen one up close so I don't know how they look but I found this at G-Style. Hope it helps!

I just cut the top off mine, then pulled off the ball and re-installed the ball on the top of the cut-off/shorter section. I have not had any reception issues. I am not in-town right now, but can e-mail a photo over the weekend.

What year is your H2? On my 05 the antenna hit the garage entrance but on my new one it does not. Maybe it's worth a call to the dealer to find out if you want to keep the oem look.

Yeah I have the 15" one of these:

Looks COOL but the reception for less powerful radio stations is a little limited!!

Does anyone know the minimum height you could go with and not effect the radio's reception? I would like to swap out my antena also, but not loose any reception quality...apparently the previous owner was not into XM radio. I haven't decided if or when I will go with an after market deck...but I am really starting to miss my XM radio while in the car ...I have a SKIFI2 but do not like the way it looks in the Hummer.

Thanks everyone for all the info and pictures; you've been a lot of help!

CG07SUT - What keeps the ball from coming back off, after you reattach it?
