Well, we have plans for kids some year, but we want to get the camper and take some road trips first. The bike doesn't really fit into the financial plan. Her fear of bikes is FINALLY letting go, so now after I've sold two of them, she wants one.

At least I still have my old Virago at my uncle's house available if I want to take it out

I do have a chance to buy a mint condition Suzuki S40 with a 650 single-piston belt-drive drivetrain, but it's just too small for two people. I think at this point it's V-Rod or bust. I tried to get her into the Star Midnight Warrior, the bike I've wanted since it's inception, but I think she likes the V-Rod more. Figures. Women and their expensive tastes

we got lucky, we had the toys before the latest kid came along. i highly doubt we'd have them if he had come along first . . . . he hates the bikes though - started mine while he was in the driveway (about 30 feet away)and he ran screaming to Nana - a bit too loud i think . . . . []

I miss it. I moved out to the country where there are nothing but open roads, and sell both my bikes months before. Since then it's been a little hard to do, especially with the truck payment. You did get lucky. And now with me looking into the SCCA racing again, we need a car, trailor and camper. That's a whole other story though [8D] Plan A didn't work out so now moving to Plans B and C.

The purple is SO you

i originally bought the 883 XLC, and with just me it was ok. but put a passenger on and it dogged it going up hills. i had the Buell 1200 conversion done and the 2 into 1 exhaust and now it doesn't matter who i put on the back. although i don't really have a passenger anymore since the wife got her birthday present. i think the girls just like the vibration of the V-twins . . . .

The purple is SO you
i had plans to change it out with the Sinister Blue once it was delivered (dealer had the tin already) but once i saw the Concorde Grape i really liked it. black and/or chrome fit it really well and i've tried to keep an even mix of both.

Is that the purple that has the metal flakes in it? That color always looks better in person.
