My new mileage
I finally filled up normal 87 octane with no additives, and have been driving when it's been between 25 and 30 degrees outside.
346.2 miles on 19.6 Gallons of gas, so thats roughly 17.7 MPG (this picture was taken before I made it to the gas station). Not too bad I wouldn't think. Not having that light bar has definitely upped my mileage. I wonder if having that thing on was also putting a strain on the engine. I don't know if I'm going to keep it off yet.

i bet i could get close to that in the bus. all i'd have to do is take out the windshield and drive with the tailgate open. it would be like riding the harley, except without a helmet . . . . .
Well it's been about 600 or 700 miles since my PCMtune..maybe more..
I filled up yesterday..I will run the tank to the bottom and check the milage...I believe I will see an improvement form 15 or 16 to a couple more MPG from what I see so far

So, what do you think about putting the light bar back on? Do you think it would cause enough engine strain from the added wind resistance to cause a problem? I wouldn't think so since it can't cause much more strain then dumping another body into the car.
Hm, that makes me wonder. This week I haven't had my co-worker/friend in the car all week long since he's been working a graveyard shift. I wonder if that has anything to do with my mileage going up. He's only like 140 or so (he's short).
