I have a Problem with my 96 H1, this problem started 6 months ago and I cant find a soloution for it yet!!
The engine keep shutting down while im driving, i had a problem with a fuse box that was rusty and i changed it 3 weeks ago but still same problem.

any ideas??

 

I have this issue once in a while. Yesterday while I was at the mall it just wouldn't start. I I tried it a few times and then it just went. I put some injector cleaner in it and it seems to be working fine. It pissed me off because I was parked in one of those "hybrid cars only" spots to prove a point. The when It wouldn't start I started drawing too much attention. Does it usually shut down when you are turning while applying the brake at the same time?

 

sounds like it might be a PMD that has gone bad or is going bad. from all the stuff i have read, this is the most common problem with these engines shutting down. there isnt any real way to test one except to pay up and buy a new one. check out SS Diesel Performance. talk to walt up there. He is the MAN. I have bought a lot of stuff from them

 

Yep, same symptom. Remote PMD and cooler solved my issue.
