Well, it's getting CLOSE to Spring, so the Princess is going to the Dealership tomorrow for a few items.

I have an Insurance claim where somePRICK tried to pop my lock on the passanger door, but with the BILLET surrounds,
HE COULDN'T DO IT!! He did manage to *** up the lock and dent the surround, while putting a few scratches in her door.






While she's in, I have a few things I want them to fix:

1.)There's a CLUNKING in the rear on the passenger side.

2.)My seat heaters are intermittent(shut off after a minute)

3.)A few indicator lights are out on my shifter

4.)My RPM's are ***'D(new cluster probably)

5.)My tranny seems to rev high before shifting to 4th. Also, TWICE, it WOULDN'T even go to 4th gear. Once was coming back from Minneapolis. Had to drive 2 hours at 80 KPH in 3rd as to not overheat my tranny.

6.)My sunroof doesn't close all the way. It happened before and they had to put a WHOLE NEW SUNROOF IN!!

WARRANTY IS A WONDERFUL THING!!!

Alot of this stuff has been going on since last Summer/Fall, but I didn't want to be without her THEN!!!

Plus while it's in, I'm having them install my new Stainless Gauge Panel from Us Speedo:

and I picked up a SMA pedal kit:


We'll see what kind of LOANER I'll get as they'll probably have her for a week or so[]

 

That's a lot of stuff for them to do.

Sorry to hear that Hummbob..hope it won't take to long to get everything fixed..I will be making an apt soon for mine..as posted in another thread..just noticed both sides of my roof rack is cracked.[:@]

 

Yeah, I've been holding off to get it done at ONE TIME!!!

And OH YEAH, I'll be visiting her!!!

Lucky for me, my Service Advisor and the Head Autobody guy are customers of mine, known them for years, so everything is always done RIGHT!!!

I've heard of plenty of folks that have to drive HOURS to get to their HUMMER Dealer[:@]

 

One of those "hours to dealer" types here (4.5 hours). Too bad about the scratches and other troubles, but I'm sure they will get her all fixed up. It's great that you have a good relationship with the dealer, it always helps. Make sure you let us know when she's back and fixed!

 

You take the front grill off before taking her in? or not worry about it?

 

damn Bob...thats alot of stuff!!!! I don't think my dealer can count that high...it would be a challange for them at the very least
Good luck with it, might as well shave the door locks and handles now, then they will have nothing to pry into to break into the princess!!
