I just recently had my water pump changed at a local shop which is very reliable place. The shop is a good place. I was supposed to pick The hummer up and they said it wouldn't start perhaps the light was left on in the car and the battery died overnight. I've never had an issue like that before. They requested to keep the Hummer and recharge the battery. I picked my Hummer up no issues. This was two weeks ago. Yesterday I noticed my car is hesitating when I go to start. Gauge on the dash says batteries charged, no issues previously before the water pump. Last night I went to start the car and it was completely dead. I tried it twice and nothing. Tried to start it a third time and it kicked in and started up. The gauges on the dash looked OK. I ran out this morning to see if the Hummer would start. Very slight hesitation but it did start up. This is exactly what happened yesterday and then I ended up with the problem of not starting. It seems to be something that is intermittent. I looked on different forums regarding water pumps and some people stay that they've had issues with their car starting after the water pump was replaced. I have to say I'm freaking out and I'm one of those scared females and I don't want to go to the store and I don't even want to put gas in my car cause I'm afraid it won't start. I called the shop this morning they said to bring it back and they would look at it. Has anybody had this problem after having a water pump replaced? My Hummer runs strong and I've never had issues with it . It has about 119,000 miles on it and it's a strong running vehicle I love it. Now I'm afraid of it. Anybody out there that can give me some advice. I have to drive my Hummer from California to Oregon alone and I am terrified.
