Default my 1995 H1 issues

Hello everyone,

it seems that i have some issues in my H1 (6.5 non turbo) , here is the story :

- i drove it yesterday around 200 miles and i noticed that the speed goin down badly in the heights it jumps from 70 to 50 and i think that the transmission doesn't shift back from 4th to 3rd gear, any ideas ?

- when i reached home i started it again after an hour, i didnt hear the fuel pump sound and the wait light keep flashing but, the engine starts. when i drove it like 100 feet then suddenly the engine turned off ??

Thx,

Sounds like a fuel delivery problem. When my 94 is warm I don't get the wait light. Lots of things you can check but first thing I would do is take the fuel filter out and inspect it. You can see if the filter needs to be replaced while checking to see if the filter canister is full. If it isn't your lift pump isn't working. That could be anything from a bad pump, to electrical connections, etc.

Seems like you found the problem. At least they are pretty cheap and easy to replace.
