hello,

I am from germany and this is my first H1, it is a stock 1993 wagon with 6.2l V8 GM Diesel and the TH400 3-speed gearbox

the car was imported from the us to italy several years ago, I got it without any manual


I hope you could help me with the following questions:

1) does any body have a 1992/1993 service manual, I have one for a 1995 H1, but several things are different

2) fuse plan

3) my wash water pump doesn`t work

4) no hot air from the heater, it blows only cold air out of the ventilation

5) I found two points in the front where no hoses are connected, please check the video @ and @

6) the H1 is equipped with a warn electric winch, the switchbox is missing, is there any other chance to test the winch operation?

7) I found a switch close to the drivers seat, but I don`t know what is the function of it?

Regarding the heater, I located the water shutoff valve close to the airfilter, nothing is moving there.

I will try to replace it as soon as I got a new one. May I will install a tube soon. Currently it is getting pretty cold here in germany.

 

This water control valve (that sends hot coolant to the heater core) is vacuum operated. If you have a vacuum leak this won't work. See if you have vacuum at the HVAC control unit before going too much further. You either have no vacuum to the control unit, a bad control unit, or a break in the line to the water control valve.

 

92+93 valves are cable operated

I already bought one for $160 including shipment to germany. I will receive it at the end of this week :-)

 

The switch by the drivers set is the CTIS control for inflating your tires. You are missing the decal that tells you what each position is. 12/3/6/9 clock positions are different operations.

 

I did not see a second disconnected hose. The first one in the video is not disconnected, it is your fuel tank vent line.
