Default Most remaining new Hummers going overseas?

Somebody that would seem to be in the know told me that most remaining new Hummers are being bought up and shipped across the pond where they are fetching a ridiculous premium.

Have any of you heard about that? Is it true?

whats the point?

they could go anywhere people want to buy them.

in april i found the yahoo site showing hummer inventories and it dropped from 400+ to 12 last week.

if it was real, thats whats left,,not selling 1 a day.
someone said the "new"status ended last month,??
i thought it was ez to predict prices would go up, some dissagree so time tells.

if there selling anywhere its not showing in the only inventory ive seen.

price? if u really wanted a new h3 and the LAST one had a sticker of $40,000, and the dealer said "ill take best offer,OVER $50,000" what would u do?

Here in Columbus, Ohio our Hummer dealer has over 50 H3's. I think it is the H2's that are being bought up. Our dealer went weeks w/o one. I know Carmax doesn't have a single H2 nationwide as of last week. Their does seem to be plenty of the pick-up version of the H2 though. I traded my H3 in for an H2 recently for this very reason of scarcity.

i can understand the h2 pickup, i cant see any use for it,wasted space.
thats why the h3t dissapeared, more space for the skimpy h3!

it's all good, that just means that the hummer production will start up again and we all can get brand new ones instead of ones sitting around

Actually, they (Hummer of Columbus now called Joesph's used cars) have 6 brand new 2010 H3's and one additional with 1500 miles on it. I think it is the demo. I have found the H3 handles much better than the H2. But, all in all, I love having an H2 to intimidate every pick up on the road out there. I always felt a bit picked on by these same trucks in my H3.

I hope so, I'm still waiting for the Hx....I love that concept car. I was sooo disappointed when they shut down hummer production.

Hummer production will never start up again. It's done, it's dead, it's over. As for the HX, that was a show car, and the H4 that was being designed before it was dropped, was different.
