It's a dual voice coil sub so the one sub has a left and right channel. So my guess is to show this they put 2 subs on the diagram, dunno. But, you will notice the A/B/C/D above the sub.

Thanks a bunch for the diagram. I know it's not as easy but it's a lot cheaper. I'll get to upgrade for ~$200 compared to the ~$600 for the amp upgrade. I just might end up doing that but I want to try this out first. I have a 6 disc changer, Monsoon panel, the sub and sub enclosure, and the amp. So besides the speakers I have everything. I'm hoping I can just rewire the speakers to the amp, replace the single disc w/the six disc, and plug in the harness from the amp to the 6 disc. But I may be way off. I'm worried about all the other stuff (OnStar, XM, Bluetooth, Door Chimes, etc ...) getting in the way. The radio, amp, and speakers is simple but how I can integrate it w/my system. That will probably be the breaking point. But I need to purchase these things in order to see if I can do it b/c there isn't much info out there to tell me either way. If I have to end up hacking apart everything I will definately think twice and just try to sell the stuff I don't need.
