Has anyone made any mods to a H3 with a 5 speed? I have an 06 base, currently stock. I have 20" motometals on 35" nitto a/t's on the way, along with a leveling kit. The only thing I don't like about my 3 is that it lacks low end grunt, especially when towing. I'd like to do the PCM retune, intake/exhaust etc...just wondering what anyone else out there has done. I've read lots on the autos, just curious how those mods have effected the 5 speeds as well.

 

The biggest improvement I have done so far is a cat-back exhaust kit (Gibson). I really didn't notice much improvement in acceleration, but I did get quite a bit more torque when climbing hills (I don't downshift as often). I am planning on doing a the PCM reprogramming this spring.

 

talk to Kelly at pcmforless and see what he does with 5 speeds. The pcm tune helps autos a lot. Intake and exhaust helped me too. [/align]
