Hi all, Just finishing up my first tank of gas since I put on the 35's Dura-Tracs (315/75/16) I got 305 miles out of a tank before the" fuel low" message showed. So probably 12 to 13 miles a gallon. Its probably alittle better than that because I never had the speedometer recalabrated and the factory rubber was the 31's. I put a K&N filter in the stock box and a new preformance muffler, not cat- back, on before I ran a full tank. Not sure how much the speedo affected the numbers but Im guessing what gas was left in the tank and the uncalabrated speedo, my mileage was more like 13 to 15 in my base, I5, H3T. Anyone feel like crunching these numbers to get any difference are more than welcome. Wanted to post this cause I had some guestions on another post. Fer sure well worth the mileage drop. 35's on my T give me that warm fuzzy feeling every morning when I open the garage door.. ;-) See ya,,,,

 

1. without knowing how many gallons of gas you put into the tank you can not calculate the mileage. Try filling up the tank at the same gas station, then running it sown to about 1/4 tank. Visit the SAME gas station and the same pump. Fill the tank the same way you filled it previously. Write down the gallons and then get back to us.

2. H3Ts never came with 31" tires. Either 32s (265 base) or 33s (285adventure/offroad). We need to know what it had on it from the factory to calculate the "corrected" mileage.

3. Whatever your mileage is, I have to agree H3Ts look great on 315s!

Get that info to us and we can do the calculations!

 

Good ideas Tainter, I filled it up yesterday and it only took 24 gallons so my figures were based on closer to 27 gallons used. Looks like theres 3 gallons left in tank when low fuel warning goes off.. Ill try your idea and yes they were 265's (oreo cookies) on there when I got it. I taped them and they read just over 31 inches. Ill try another tank just to see what Im getting but after that Im not going to mess with it much ,,, just enjoy See ya, thanks for the info,,,
