Default mgoblue85....

I read the thread about the supercharger installation but I don't remember readin any type of review since its been installed. Did I miss it?

Anyway, what is it like to drive now? Does it feel like it screams down the road? As much fun as a stock 3 is, doubling up the HP, it seems like the 3 would be an absolute blast to drive and cause a whole bunch of

Thumbs up

I think I did some posts after the installation, but I don't mind posting some more.

Yes, it is really a blast now. The stock Alpha obviously had more power than either of our two I5's had, but it is a whole different beast now. Cool thing is that the supercharger has a bypass valve that "eliminates" the supercharger for idling and cruising at speed. When accelerating, however, it ROCKS. Final numbers were 304 WHP at 5500rpm and 336 WTQ at 3800rpm. The final HP number would have been a little higher with the stock wheels and tires because of the weight difference. The torque is over 300 ft/lbs. almost immediately upon acceleration (about 1600rpm). We had some fun with it after bringing it home from the speed shop, but it's in the garage with the battery pulled 'til spring now. I've been accumulating a few parts and upgrades to install before driving it again this year. I've attached the final dyno report with a pic of the finished installation.
