Are those 315/70-17's? I'm so close to picking those up, I'm still trying to figure out the offset/backspacing of the rims that I want to pair it with so that I don't have any rubbing. The rims have a zero offset w/ 4.5" backspacing. I'm ordering it and having it shipped across the pacific so I want to make sure that it fits correctly. I'm taking out a 2nd mortgage to cover the shipping and would hate to take a 3rd just to send it back=)

zero backspace will not rub but will stick out alot. I have +12 which sticks out more than the +38 stockers so zero offset will stick out even more. this is how much a +12 rim sticks out

back spacing is all relative to rim width and offset, if you are going 8 or 9" wide then you will be ok, just will have to put up with alot of dirt on the side of your truck everytime you hit a puddle

So with a higher offset, say +35 at 9" wide and the 315 MTZ, there possibly could be some rubbing on the inside, being that there would be more rim under the wheel well?

yea, especially if you go 9" wide. +35 offset woul put the lug plate of the rim all the way towards the outside lip like the stock h3 rims, this means you would have almost a full 8" stuffed from the hub to the shock area....gonna be tight. You may have to buy 1/2 spacer if they do rub.

Time to put this back at the top part of the list :-)
Showed up at the house after 2 hours of relaxing at my local watering hole only to find 4 brand spankin new 35's sitting waiting for me on my front porch. I'm TOO stoked about getting these put on tomorrow evening!!!
