Exclamation Mass Airflow sensor

Greetings from Saudi Arabia

My name is Mashhour, Living in Saudi Arabia, I am the founder of www.hummer-arabia.com which is an Arabic forum related only with Hummers and offroad trips.

I have just purchased the Volant cold air intake system + the Jet performance Mass airflow sensor.

I read that the jet performance mass airflow sensor flow 41 percent more airflow then stock. The Powr-Flo sensors are designed to improve horsepower and increase gas mileage. They are compatible with factory electronics and stock vehicles, as well as modified vehicles including, but not limited to: Performance tuning (chips, modules, etc.), exhaust modifications (cat-back, headers, etc.), cold air intakes, and ignition systems.

Is this true ?? and will it harm my engine or it has any negative result ??

BTW my Car is H3 2007 Luxury package.

Thanks
Mashhour

I'm def. interested to know if you actually pick up any power and economy from the Jet mass air flow sensor. I know those are a hot commodity in the American motored cars; supposedly lots of gain to be had. Although I have never tried one. I'm VERY curious to know if you get any improvements from it.
How much did you pay for it?

Default miracles of BIBLICAL proportions!!

i can handle the parting of the RED SEA and the resurection of JESUS,,,,but i dont have enuf faith for an object of metal and plastic giving ,,,BOTH MILEAGE,,,AND POWER INCREASES!!!

if the mix ratio is maintained, then when more air gets in,more gas must be needed.

a blower pumps more air and also fuel for more power but i doubt better mileage. the same i assume for other devices.

rest assured, auto zone would stock a hundred for every model made since 1999,, and that aint in the plan,,,im bettin!!

i hear on radio an age old device being resurected, the "platinum gas saver",,22% better mileage!

when its guaranteed ill be first to pay $199!

ill be watchin for the "miracle"!!

Thanks guys for your quick response. Well I have purchased the MAF for extra power not for fuel economy you know here in Saudi Arabia the Gas is so Cheap 1 Liter = 0.12 $ .. so it is not a big deal. My question will it harm my engine in anyway ?? or it is safe to install .. as i need my H3 to respond faster. ThanksMashhour
