Default Market for stock wheels?

I'm replacing my stock wheels with an aftermarket set. Nothing flashy; just going from the stock 16" alloys to matte black 17"s with new tires.

Is there any market out there for the old wheels? I'd hate to just toss them; it'd be nice to get something, anything in return.

TIA,
KJ

I have seen sets of 16's go for 200-400 dollars. If you have decent tires on them probably more, you would be better off putting them in the garage for what they sell for.

Shipping is always a deal breaker when selling wheels or tires.
Put them up on Craigslist and sell for local pickup only.
You should get at least $100 if you want to sell quickly or hold out longer for more $.
I bought a set of 4 last year for $80.

I had stock wheels listed on here and then on craigslist for quite a long time. I had reduced them sevral times then finally someone from Craigslist bought them for I think it was 200 bucks. So, Not a huge market out there, but if you're patient they will probably sell. You might sell them fast too, who knows. But yes, it would probably be better to sell them locally.

KingJoseph, post a city, state or maybe a zip code so peeps can see where the rims are located. Also pix help a ton with any online sale.

Like bunger said. Shipping will always kill a rim deal.

If I could find good Lux wheels at a good price and also near me, I'd buy them just to have spares. I love my stock wheels.

I live in Houston, TX and Nashville, TN. Used to live in CA a few years ago. Sounds like nice wheels, but I just prefer the stock chrome. Thanks!

I saw a nice set of H3 Tactical rims on OKC CL in "general" yesterday for $400. There is another set of solid spoke chrome rims (same style as the tactical) dipped black in the Dallas CL in "auto parts" for $125.
