Default MARKER LIGHT WIRING

So I'm installing my Pacer marker lights and want them to come on with the running lights. Through the other install guides previously posted...Thanks Blackbear and SculptorMJM...I know the grey wire at the headlight switch would be the wire to tie into if I want the markers to come on with the headlights...which color wire would I tie into to make them come on with the running lights. I want the markers to flash when I arm/disarm the alarm. Thanks!

Run a wire from one of the taillights, hide it under the length of the roof rail, then splice it into the corner light on that side. That will ensure that when you use your keyless entry, the marker lights will also flash.

I saw your post on how you did that and its a good idea but my roof rail is not accessible due to my roof rack. I know that one of the wires going to the headlight switch is hot from the running lights..I already have the marker lights wired up to that point. Just hoping someone had an answer so I won't have to meter it out, tight down in there! Anybody with a wiring diagram?

Look for a Brown wire in the kick panel. It should be bunched with the wires that run to the back +12V. If you have the wire at the Passenger side, you can find it there too (used it the other day). If you are at the switch, it should be brown / white - , but it probably wont give you the flash from the RAP on unlock.

After metering the wires at the switch, I coudn't find one that gave me 12v when only the running lights were turned on. I scrapped that idea and ran a wire to the front turn light...PIA getting the plastic fender shroud off! But the job is done and I am waiting for the spray tint to smoke the lenses. I'll post pics when its finished. Thanks everyone.

Hopefully you can help me out here, I bought a set of five roof marker lights, they are Truck-Lite brand, the thing is they only have one wire coming from the bottom of them, can these be affixed to the A pillars, (I only want to use two of them) then run the wire down the inside of the A Pillar and connect it to the side marker light, so when the running lights come on so will the the roof marker lights, and is it normal for there to be only one wire (black)

BKNBLCK One more thing where do you police, and thanks; the flag is for both fallen and disabled police

Ok for those that might be interested, the single wire lights are grounded by the built that holds the light to the cab, obviously while attaching the light to an H3's A Pillar wouldn't give us the ground we need, so to make a single wire system work we would need to use an eye hook connector to connect a long wire to the bolt that hooks the light to the car, now running the positive wire (The Single Wire) and the eye hooked bolt on wire down the A Pillar, and splice into the side markers, so when the side marker comes on, so will the roof marker, if it’s when you lock or unlock the truck, while in drive and the markers are on, my H3 already has the roof top fog lights, with this I'll have two amber marker lights (Cab Lights) this is cool looking, well it looked cool when drawn up in CorelDraw, so we're hoping to start drilling holes soon, it looks like I'll need to drill holes in the A Pillar, and in the lights, to add wires and make the work properly, the thingI'm wondering is how hard is it to get to the wires for the side markers, when I put the smoked markers in it required my pulling the wheel well out to get to the lights, I'm hoping there is an easier way to get to the wires. Any advice would be appreciated, anything from how to wire it, to whether you think it would look good or not, I’ll try to find the CorelDraw pic and post it, or redo the CorelDraw pic for posting.

Thanks again
