I went with the Gibson dual extreme cat-back. it gives it a nice sound, but does have a slight drone at highway speeds. I come from the old school trucks so a little drone does not bother me, and the tips come out at a 45 degree angle behind the rear tires.

 

Its not the cat back portion.

There is about a 3-4 foot section between the exhaust header and where the cat back attaches. It is on the passenger side wedged between a torsion bar and the body of the truck. It is you secondary catalytic converter.

Interesting, I was told that part is not available. I have already ordered the cat back and the header and front CAT, was told mid pipe not available.

Not sure it would fit anyway. As the factory pipe is somewhat squashed to fit it in there.

Again would love to see some photos.

so for anyone's future reference that may be looking to do this and cannot find the answer I finally located instructions for installing the midpipe it requires removing the right side or passenger side torsion bar in order to get the factory one out

 

How hard is that to do??

Seems like a PITA.
