Lurking for 4 years
Been lurking for 4 years and been a member for 3 so decided I should start posting. Have had a lot of help from these forums and with my experience with various H3 issues hopefully I can contribute to others.
I have a RH drive H3 Adventure (Australian version from South Africa) which I have had for 3 1/2 years and 60,000 km. This is definitely the best vehicle I have ever owned and was totally pissed off when GM shut down Hummer. I was looking forward to getting the first HX in Australia.
Biggest problem to date has been the manual gearbox replaced under warranty.
Expect to hear more from me in the future.

To be honest, drtom, I'm not a big fan of US cars, but when I saw the prerelease info on the RHD H3 on the internet I just had to have one. Had to wait 7 months for delivery.
We have GM Holden and Ford Falcon as homegrown Aussie cars. Did you know the G8 Pontiac is really a Holden Commodore SS exported from Australia?
Unfortunately we don't have any serious 4WD manufacturers here except for the military Bushmaster. Now that's a very serious off road machine.
Most popular 4WD cars are the Toyota Landcruiser and Hilux series.
A big range of Jeep models are also imported.
Almost forgot the OKA which has limited production, and the Earthcruiser which is a remanufacture.
