On a 2006 Basic Hummer H3, is there a separate key for the luggage racks other than the ignition key? It will not go in past the little slide plate protector or is it possible the first pin tumblers seized? if so should I try to inject WD40 in each one to try free up?

 

There is a separate key. If they are O.E.M. luggage racks there will be a number stamper on the lock cylinder. Check here on the forum, e-bay or as a last resort the dealership.

 

If the roof racks are OEM, The lock will have an "SP_" on it.
Post up what key you need and someone will probably have one or make you one on HF.

 

Or........... they could LOOK in the glove box and center console to see if the owner left the key in there..... and take a LOOK at the owner's manual.
