lowering an H3... Really?!?
No difference to me. I would just be wondering if he keeps spare front end parts on hand and laugh at his braking ability . 24's and 35" tires = well over 100 pounds a corner.
Well, me too.
But I will generally not point at laugh if the owner is in the H3 at the time. Or at least not too obviously. At least not if he is much bigger than me.

There are a couple quality lowering kits out there. Not for me, but whatever sinks your boat I guess.
There was a guy on here couple years ago (duck or ducky something?) that lowered his and did some testing. Road handling improved a lot as far a sway and float, and it shortened braking distance as well.

I have lowered mine with a quality lowering kit and fitted 22" wheels with 305/40 tyres, it now handles well the ride is not much different to the standard wheels and my family can get in and out with ease. We have no intention of taking it off road, it is used as a weekend family cruiser and is handy at the boat ramp when it is slippery.
