Low pressure switch on A/C
Need help! I understand that the low pressure switch for the high pressure line. I replaced the radiator and need to kick on the a/c compressor to re-charge the system. I was told that by jumping the leads, with a paper clip I could get the compressor to start. Tried and no luck. Anyone out there know the secret to this problem?
"they"say you should have the system vacume evacuated b4 adding Freon.
but I know of people just adding Freon and running things just fine. I did it with no problems.
ive had the condition where the comp wont turn on and adding Freon fixed it just recently in my jeep "beater"
so I guess that if the comp doesn't kick on, it has trouble of its own.
