Yes seafoam was use it as directed the filter and oil have been used for many years it's mobil1

seafoam is great I use it in the gas and also in another car in the oil pen but in this case somehow it affect something else that made it worse
hopefully it's only the sensor or the gauge

Is it possible to.replace only the seal ring , if so is still necessary to drop the Front differential to remove the oil pan ...
