Bennersj: Thanks for the heads up, but I'm gonna have to pass on it. Good luck on your bid...I hope you get it.

Just a thought, since it is from Ceritas Hummer, I wonder if they would make you a deal on both front and rear.

dmb7280: Just got it back from the body shop a couple of hours ago. I think they got the fenders taken care of.
However, the door is another story.......I haven't had it in the sun yet, but we may have to re-visit this damn
issue 1 more time. Next time they will have to strip it down to factory base and do it all over.......Guess what that
means? Sigh.........

They (SMA) had some really neat stuff......Shame they had to go and F it up............

Give hilljob some time to prefect his clone......Hopefully he can do something with the pics I gave him.

There are some really weird bends in the thing to make it fit tight to the grill and body but not
interfere with the hood. With that new bender he might come up with something even better.

Again, good luck on the bidding.

Crap..... after seeing this thread for the first time tonight, I'm surprised I've no been banned.[]

I only bought those tires and rims just to screw with Gunner.... hehehe..

Seriously, I looked at all the wheel and tire combos out there and these are the ones I liked best. It was a good choice, I don't have the beadlock rings, I've decided against buying them.. maybe buy a cab light set instead.

Besides, if anyone mistakes MY H3 for Mark's all they have to do is roll down their window and LISTEN to mine, they're hear that Magnaflow exhaust and know right away it ain't that punk stock exhaust that my counterpart has on his [8D].... (radar is on in case Gunner decides to lob a JATO bottle at my garage.

The Super Swampers are some serious tires, mine are 12 ply sidewalls and 5 ply radials with 2 steel belts.

My speedometer is reading about 66 when the GPS is reading 70. Mileage is in the crapper with these big *** tires.. My stock 32's got me 20mpg on the highway and now I notice a lot of downshifting on small grades on the interstates and it drinks gas at cruising speeds. I have the PCM update, exhaust, K&N and it's got power but the 34's really rob the energy but boy it sure is nice off road. Just Ask Dave...

BTW_ I was expecting to share a bunch of trick pics of the Hummer Happening but it didn't happen. The event was called due to weather. High temps for Sunday was barely 40 degrees and it rained like hell. I was still willing to go and make it happen but the dealership called me Friday night as said they were killing the off road challenge due to bad weather so they were going to Fudrucker's to eat and play games, I opted out, the only games I wanted to play require dirt, rocks, mud and my H3 and I can eat anywhere...bummer. If they would have held the event on Saturday it would have been great, it was around 80 degrees and dry. Sunday was a washout.

So about all I can do is post a pic of my new puppy. She's all black, just like my H3. Say hello to Graci, she's a registered Pomeranian and she's almost 3 months now, two pounds of romping stomping hell!

Well, well, well............Look what the three legged cat drug up......

Raymond, you just keep on rolling with those Swamper's bro......You are the
only other person I know that is running them. Go for the BLR's as well, just
as long as you go with the black one's....Also, don't worry about the cab
lites, I'm still willing to come over and paint a big 'ol lime green "R" on your
doors. As for that magnaflow thing, they won't need to roll down a window
once yours mysteriously disappears and you are running straight pipes.

BTW: Did you get your PCM tune prior to the 34's? You were on 32's right?

If so, why don't you see if Kelly will re-tune you for the larger tires and adjust
your shift points accordingly. I think they will do it at a discount since you
are already a customer. That would take care of most of you're tire related issues.

Damn man, I'm sorry to hear that. I know you were so looking forward to it. I've got an extra Sewell license plate frame, maybe we can use to sneak you in to our next event.

Mark, I did my PCM tune prior to getting the tires. I thought about sending the unit back to Kelly but I don't run these tires all the time. I've still got my stock wheel set and when I need to do a road trip with the H3 I can easily swap them. That's the only reason I haven't requested a retune.

Regarding the Hummer Happening, the guy from the dealership said they didn't know how bad the weather would get and there was a chance for ice that day so they called it only because of liability issues. I can understand that but this wasn't a Mustang road show, it was an off road challenge. I'll get over it.

Also, I KEEP MY GARAGE LOCKED and the Hummer inside it just so I wake up everyday and don't find it stripped like an 86' Fiero on the side of the highway for a week and a half, or find lime green R's painted all over it.[:@] dude, you're a hair shy of pure evil, ya know...

Regarding the Trxus Swampers, you know you're right, only ones I've seen on any Hummer is yours and mine. I see all kinds or Toyo's, MT's and whathaveyou.

I am really surprised that those tires that look so aggressive are so damn quiet on the highway. I was worried they would sound like regular mudgrips on an old pickup that you could hear a half mile away.

Doc, that is PRIMO wheeling weather as far as I'm concerned. Thank God, my dealer's
position is, "They are Hummers, frak the weather". My first outing with Sewell was
during an inland monsoon....One of the best wheeling adventures I've had.

The only thing I can say in that other dealers defense, is that since these things
have so many first timers, depending on where they were going.....Safety might
have been the deal breaker. From what I understand, some of the OR parks they
use can become down right treacherous if wet. Not the sort of places you
want to take a bunch of noobs. I bet the suits made the decision.

However, that ain't gonna stop me from talking ****......
