Default Losing oil when running air conditioner in my 2006 h3

Can anyone give me any insight to what could be the root cause of mass loss of oil when running my air conditioner in my 2006 hummer h3, it runs fine with no less as long as the air isn't on. I'm on my second engine with the same problem.

Well that's a weird one...
Are you certain it is because of the AC?
Seems rather strange.

other than regular consumption of oil without the air on it's fine, but when I run the air it consumes large amounts of oil and I'm not sure what may be causing it.

With the AC compressor on , the 5 cyl is laboring more , hence a slight increase in oil consumption I would say .( if it's got high miles ) .
