You may be too far. I would need the truck for at least two days. It could be one day, then a week later another. I have to get very detailed dems. Draw it all up in the software. fabricate the rack. get it into position over the truck and and make the mounting brackets. Then i need to make a quality jig. But it is starting to not look good. If i cant give one away in Houston i doubt i will sell very many.

 

I am in the Houston area with a 08 H3 alpha. Has the factory rack on it. Don't know if that would be a problem. I can take better pictures tomorrow.

 

You should stop by my shop at some point. Ill make you a polished one to match.

 

What part of town are you in. And how long would you need the vehicle? Im looking to get a rack but am hesitant on getting a Gobi or similar cause of the price.

 

Never seen this picture but I would sure love something like that. I'll be on TDY leave for 10 days soon if you still want to try something with the T.

I couldn't commit to building one for the T yet. I need to get the design for a simple/affordable rack first.

 

I use mine as a daily driver so you would not be able to keep it...

 

Are you set up to make other stuff, like rear bumpers? With the Thor rear bumper out of production you might find a market for something similar. I would drive down from OK to visit where I grew up if you were interested in working on something like that. Otherwise I'm going to find a local shop or a buddy with a torch and cutter to help me make one locally. (and I don't plan on sharing :P )
