Default Looking At An H3

Hello all! I am looking at an H3, and am simply looking to hear reviews, pro's, con's, etc. Nice to meet everyone.

Nice to meet you Mike. I've had an H3 since March and I love it. They are definitely "like nothing else" and I'm still just as excited to drive it now as I wass 4 months ago. I've taken a few road trips loaded down with 3 or 4 other adults and luggage and it has proven to be very comfortable for everyone.
The pros for me would be: it doesn't use much more gas than the majority of the other SUV's out there, the fit and finish of the vehicle, particulary the cabin, is much higher quality than many other Big 3 vehicles, and overall I feel quite safe in the vehicle.
The only con, from my standpoint, is you have to deal with GM/Chevrolet dealers now for warranty service. The majority of the dealerships suck at customer service/satisfaction, but that isn't a vehicle fault.
There is a stigma attached to driving a Hummer because everyone assumes that it gets 3 mph and you probably run over animals and children every chance you get but secretly those same people love it too.

Our H3 has been a dream car. Virtually no issues, wife loves to drive it, I have wheeled it through some amazing runs and I have no complaints. I have the Alpha so not sure about any questions on the 3.7L.

I've only had my H3 for 2 months, but so far I'm loving it. By far the best SUV I've owned.

Well, I have found one that I really like a lot...and it will be Tuesday before I get back to check on it though. It is a 2008, 21,000 miles, Victory Red, chrome grill guard, chrome gas cap, chrome wheels, and looks like brand new (and still has that "new car smell"). If he still has it Tues., we may get serious about it. Thanks for the welcome everyone, is there any certain things I should look for, or pay special attention to before I talk money? Thanks again!

I am on my 3rd H3. Totaled a Victory Red 06 Lux. Wrecked it on a Saturday, it was declared totaled the next Tuesday and I had a new 08 Victory Red Lux on Friday. Just traded it in for a 10 Alpha. I would not own anything else. Do read this forum from beginning to end and you can find out all you would ever need to know.

Thanks for the welcome everyone! I didn't buy the H3, but decided and bought a 2004 H2. I think it it more along the lines of what I want. So far, I LOVE it! I will post some pics after I get a few taken.
