I have given up trying to mount long range driving lights on the factory brush guard.

At this stage I am thinking of mounting four lights (two spots and two spreads) on a roof rack style bar just behind the sun roof.

Anyone done similar??

Does anyone know how to run the wiring from the roof??

Any photos??

Also suggestions on lights to use, considering Hella 4000 or Lightforce Genesis at the moment also looked at IPF. There is good and bad reviews for all, but will start another thread about that

 

Go on u tube and type in Hummer H3 roof rack light wiring, fourwheel magazine did a H3 build and they posted videos of it. They but a Gobi roof rack on it with lights. I will wired mine the same way minus remote system
