The rear diff will lock up in 4low. works real good. Is there a way to make it lock up in 4high.
This would be a nice when driving in mud holes. Where a little more tire speed would be nice and

I think it's disabled from engaging in 4WHIGH for the reason that if you were to forget it was on, you could tear the living hell out of the rear end at higher speed than 4WLO, I'm guessing.... perhaps one of the gearheads can better explain it.

I just got back fro a two week hunting trip from Michigans U.P. I dont even know where to start with the H3. I pulled a trailer that
was close to 4500lbs. Did good as long as you kept the speed down. Offroad its the most capable truck I have ever owned. But
having the option to lock the rear axle would be nice.

Yea I could see how that would be handy..unfortunately...nope. 
The closest you are going to get is 4LO-Lock and then run the transmission in [D] instead of 3, 2 or 1

Notice: If you try to lock the rear axle while your vehicle is stuck and the tires are spinning, you could damage your vehicle's drivetrain. The repairs would not be covered by your warranty. Always lock the rear axle before attempting situations and/or navigating terrain which could possibly cause the vehicle to become stuck.
The locking rear axle will be disengaged when the wheel speed is greater than 20 mph (32 km/h), if the vehicle's battery is low and/or the transfer case is shifted out of 4LO Lock mode.
