Default Loan Or Pay Cash?

Do banks give loans on a '03-'06 H2 w/around 70-100k on the odometer? Or will I have to pay cash? I don't know cause I usually buy new or 1 year old trucks.

Banks generally don't like to loan on vehicles over 5 years old. Credit Unions typically do much better deals on used car financing and loan more on the credit worthiness of the person than the vehicle. I always pay cash for vehicles but as low as rates are these days I would be tempted to finance a car rather than giving up the cash.

Thanks 3Hummers. I have pretty good credit. I've never had a problem buying a truck and my wife's car we got approved for 0%apr through GM. This gives me some hope I won't have to come up w/15-20k up front.

Default giving up the cash

.if you have ANY cash you should spend it as soon as possible on stuff you normally buy and use. its a dead loss as you hold it to inflation, since you cant get any interest. buying stock in a market that is where it was 11 years ago doesent look promissing,,,but food products as an example, that are going up 10 to 20 %+,with 2 to 3 year date codes assures you of 10-20 %return,,,beats the bank.
the credit cards are giving money away at 1 PERCENT/YR!!! i just took 2000 at a $20 fee for 11 months just to have to grab deals on stuff going up,up,up.
if i had hummer cash,,,id spend it,,,fast

Cash provides flexibility. Also if you can borrow money at 3-4% and given our current rate of inflation and the expected future rate you could be borrowing money at an effective rate of zero or less.

If you have good credit, your not really saving alot with a low interest rate. I'd rather put my money to work and let the bank invest in a rolling depreciation. lol

My credit union loaned on a 03 mustang gt with 78k miles and a 06 h2 with 93k.
If your credit is right, you'll have no problem!
