the list of things that arent wrong is shorter...
hey guys, im new to the forum and was wondering if anyone had some info on my many issues. i have an 06 h3, has a 6in suspension lift 18in wheels and 35in tires. i love the thing but every time i turn around something else is acting up. 1st and foremost the throttle position sensor is acting up. it dies on me all the time when i let off the throttle to hit brakes, or turning sharply at slow speed. when i rev the engine and let off the throttle sometimes it quits, sometimes it almost quits and will go back to normal idle. is it possible to clean and fix or am i stuck with replacing the thrtl. body? next is the service 4wheel drive message appears when i hit a bump or flex the suspension a little bit as well as the button on the dash with the X on the rear end flashing. this i am clueless about and any info would be greatly appreciated! i have several other issues as well but these are my major concerns. thanks in advance guys!

I have never heard of a TPS "acting up", rather, they are like a light switch.... either they work (on) or they don't (off). Have you cleaned your TB, standard 50K maintenance item. The drive by wire can have problems controlling idle with a dirty TB.
When you buy a re-manufactured TB, that usually means they put a new TPS in it and gave it a thorough cleaning. TBs are cheap, after you apply your old one as a core at your local carburetor rebuild joint.
Who did the lift? Did you buy it that way? Did they extend the wiring to the rear diff locker?
Miles???????

well finally had some free time and got some work done on the humm. cleaned the TB and idle is back to normal, also DOC the wiring had been extended, but i found the connector at the rear diff ready to fall apart because the clip was broken, got it fixed and the service 4wheel light has stayed off since. also took 35s off and put on some new 33s. big difference all around. the advise is greatly appreciated saved me a couple hundred bucks. thanks again
