Default Line-X whole truck?

Just Line-Xed the whole front end and debating doing some more. It looks good but the price is so reasonable that maybe doing the entire car wouldn't be bad. If anybody has done this, Id love to see what it looks like.

Looks good, I want to do my front and rear bumpers and all the plastic on the sides including the flares!

There have been pics of whole vehicles done online and it looked pretty good. I'm half tempted at some point to do my entire rig maybe in a tinted OD green but we'll see.

Sounds heavy. I'd consider doing it to an old beater, or a Hummer after it has reached old beater status, but I wouldn't do it on an otherwise good condition vehicle. I do like the OD green idea if you are going to go all out. edit: referring to doing the entire vehicle. I think doing just select parts like the grill, sliders and maybe fender flares is a great idea.

I remember there was a mythbusters episode where they put a bedliner'd car to the test. From what I remember, it did fairly well. I would image on an old beater wheeler it would really keep down the scratches, scrapes, and small dings.

It is definitely really durable on the front end of my car. just doing the front end was 200 so I'm thinkin maybe the whole deal wont be anymore that 3000.

Just remember each location sets its own price so it pays to shop around. Might see quotes under $2500

No, No, No. You have the anology all wrong. It's like a golf ball flying through the air! Just make sure you yell "FORE" before putting it in Drive.

Don't those surfaces like Line-X and Rhino-liner start to fade and look really bad after a year or two?

Yes. Line-X has a UV stabilizer coating that you can add that fixed that tho, for an additional fee. I wonder if its just a regular poly clearcoat.
