I am getting ready to put a couple of lights up front and was thinking about getting an oem switch to put in the console. I did a quick search and saw that it is almost $40 for the oem switch and pigtail. No thanks. Any suggestions for switches in those two ports? I may just buy two and replace the OEM one in the second port so they match.

Also, for those who have already put lights on your H3, what is the best and/or easiest route for the wires. I know those two usually do not go together but one can always hope right?

 

I just used two standard on/off toggle switches for my four lights. I put them in the stock light hole locations. Looks good and clean. I routed the wires down the pillar next to the driver seat and in the cab through the grommet on the inside of the door jamb. For the wires under the hood I routed them through underneath te fake air intake and used fuse taps.

 

That was pretty much my plan also. That grommet seems to be the best point to bring the wires in. Thanks

 

can someone take pictures of how you wired this and how the switches look? i've been looking into some fog lights to add to my brush guard...
